PORTAGE POTATO FESTIVAL – AUGUST 9-10
Where: Portage la Prairie, Manitoba
What To Expect: The Portage Potato Festival is an annual FREE festival held the second weekend in August. It’s a celebration of everyone’s favourite veggie – the potato! This year is the festival’s 20th anniversary and will include a Pancake Breakfast, free fries, a Baby Spud Contest, musical entertainment and more! More details can be found here.

WINKLER HARVEST FESTIVAL – AUGUST 9-11
Where: Winkler Fairgrounds (Winkler, Manitoba)
What To Expect: The Harvest Festival is a huge, FREE family event held annually in Winkler! There will be a parade, car show, food vendors, market, beer gardens, fireworks, multiple musical acts – and so much more! More information can be found on the City of Winkler’s website here.

RAINBOW TROUT MUSIC FESTIVAL – AUGUST 16-18
Where: Along the banks of the Rosseau River, just south of St. Malo, Manitoba. The site is owned by George and Florence Beaudry.
What To Expect: Rainbow Trout is known as one of the best independent music festivals in Manitoba! You’ll enjoy three days of music, camping, good friends, bonfires, dancing and so much more. It’s also 100% volunteer-driven and dedicated to promoting local music and art. Find out more here.

MORDEN CORN & APPLE FESTIVAL – AUGUST 23-25
Where: Morden, Manitoba
What To Expect: The Morden Corn & Apple Festival originated in 1967 and has grown into the largest street festival in Manitoba! WHOOP & HOLLAR FOLK FESTIVAL – AUGUST 24-25
Where: Cottonwood Acres (Southport, MB) and Island Park Ukrainian Connection Bandstand (Portage la Prairie, MB)

With a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable weekend of music under the trees by day and under the stars by night.
