What Your Car Says About You!
First impressions count for a lot, so the way you present yourself to the world is pretty significant. But no matter what outfit you’re wearing, or how great your hair happens to look, sometimes the car you pull up in is the first thing people see. Here’s what your car says about you! (in our noble opinion):
Muscle/Sports Car
If you’re zooming around in a sporty number such as a Dodge Charger, Ford Mustang, or Mazda MX-5 you probably come across as exciting, and definitely up for a good time*. However, you could also appear to be overly concerned with looks, and possibly not the most dependable person. Those aerodynamic lines will come in handy the next time you ghost someone after a few weeks!
Luxury Ride
Sitting behind the wheel of a new BMW, Lexus, or Mercedes shows the world that you either have an incredibly well-paying job, or are the lucky recipient of the generosity of wealthy parents. Either way, spending a weekend with you will probably involve some really great food, exceptionally fancy wine or scotch, and sheets with an impressive thread count.
Minivan or SUV
Driving a soccer-mom vehicle communicates that you’re family-oriented, responsible, and safe. Passengers will expect to find at at least one car seat in the second row, and a few Paw Patrol toys scattered on the floor. Jeep
When you buy this car, you enter into a secret club that only other Jeep owners know about (get ready to wave to other Jeeps that you pass on the road!). People will expect you to be rugged, adventurous, and not afraid to get dirty. To fully live up to the stereotype, suggest off-roading as your next first date activity.
Pickup Truck
Owning a Dodge Ram or Ford F-150 will cause a lot of assumptions about you: you’re down-to-earth, outdoorsy, like country music and probably excel at making things with your hands. Unfortunately, some fellow drivers might also assume that you’re more likely to cut them off without signaling – so take this opportunity to prove everyone wrong!
Four-Door Sedan
A practical 4-door says you’re dependable, pragmatic, and humble. Or perhaps you inherited the car from a parent or elderly aunt. Either way, you’re more likely to prioritize getting the bills paid than buying the hottest new technology or latest fashion – and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Mini Cooper or Fiat
A hip, compact European-inspired car tells others that you’re trendy, cultured, connected. You probably have a Netflix list full of BBC shows, listen to music exclusively on vinyl, and have the scoop on the latest must-try restaurants in town.
Eco-friendly Compact
If a Prius, Smart Car, Honda Civic or other economical car is your ride of choice, you’ll come across as environmentally conscious, modern, and forward-thinking. On the weekends, you can be found bringing your own reusable shopping bags to the farmers’ market, or hitting up a Ted Talk.
